So interesting isn't it! As each day goes by, my purchasing power increases, and the more autonomy I have over my life due to financial freedom
I looked back at my investment notes, and in July, October, and December of 2022, I made our major re-allocation into Bitcoin when the price was circa 30k aud per Bitcoin
Since then I've had to be:
- patient
- humble
- rational
- focused
- spiritual
Which can be summarised in the classic laser eyes to 100k meme... The profile pic for which I seem to have lost along the way
Quite something to watch play out in real time
I doubt very many tbh. The idea of a platform which is not specifically able to police "hate speech" is not something they will want to choose
Sunday night pump!
Often things are quiet over the weekend, but I think this is Asian investors getting ahead of markets opening
Fascinating to watch this week play out, as everyone will be playing catch up to early rising bulls in the east...

We've all got plenty of friends like this. Funny isn't it. Why are some people so enamoured? And others are not?
For me it comes down to the problem > solution fit. For some people, they just don't see Bitcoin solving a problem for them
And that's ok...
Every Friday night I write a mini report for myself and my wife on our net assets
Not going to lie... This week's was a pleasure to put together and send to her
Shout out to all the amazing partners out there that supported crazy Bitcoin decisions
Also good reminder: when this thing retraces 50-70% on the other side, circa 2026, be prepared
Stay humble, stack sats
Stay humble, stack sats
Totally agree

If you're net assets are hitting new all-time-highs
Take the time to give yourself a hug
Been a long road, plenty of doubt, and restless nights
But it's so worth it now
Great point that I hadn't considered before...
I had said 100k usd for xmas would be a very bullish festive season
Not impossible
So much sell pressure from that point to handle though
If you wanted to setup a hedge fund, what jurisdiction is most friendly to you?

Take a look at wtfhappenedin1971 (https://wtfhappenedin1971.com/)
So much good data to show how real income has diverged. This chart eg shows how it's now 10x income to house price
We see this type of trend globally
At some point it will re-correct, I totally agree, the question is when...?

100k big psychology price point. Yes expect to see a sell off for sure. π―
For the last 3 months I been tracking Bitcoin Open Interest very closely. The leverage in the system is way too high. When the leverage is high, then whales come along and either sell or buy to liquidate the longs or shorts. And then they can get back into / out of the market with at lower or higher price to make a profit.
So currently we have over 24 billion leverage, more longs than shorts, which historically is too much leverage. Previous cycles once we hit ATH (especially after election) it sky rockets. I'm not so sure this will happen yet, I think it will grind higher at much slower rate. Unless leverage is flushed out. The only way to flush out leverage is to have a big drop (get rid of longs). This will get rid of weak hands and then we have perfect formula for it to sky rocket.
Thats my take on it. I don't trade, but I like to try understand why we sometimes get these sudden pumps or dumps.
Once leverage drops, then price I think will rip. I've been seeing how bitcoin on exchanges is lowest its ever been and demand is just growing and growing. Im Very very bullish. Just this unhealthy leverage is making me short term cautious.
I use https://coinalyze.net/bitcoin/open-interest/
to see leverage.

I am sure that many kids are suffering
But the solution is surely the responsibility of 1) the parents and 2) the child
Ridiculous that the government thinks they can even help... More censorship: no thanks
