Deleting your Twitter account can actually make a difference.
Every time someone opens a link or searches for an old thread in which you participated they will not see your tweets, the entire experience will be broken and they will hate Twitter for that.

I don't know what really happens when you delete, but I just tried to take nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx's handle and couldn't. It's been over a month already.

I don’t know If you know it or not but X is a whole lot better than Nostr to protect the freedom of speech in PRACTICAL TERMS. So why would I delete the account. Doesn’t make any sense.

When I switched to nostr the first thing I did was delete my Twitter account. Haven’t looked back. I’m not sure how everything works here, I’m a Gen X musician with no coding skills, but the spirit behind everyone here feels right. I feel like we’re all on the frontlines of the biggest war against humanity and all I can do is bang on a drum. 🥁
