Well I think it will be a case of blending together the different internet protocols, to try and retain as much data as possible, putting the user at the centre

It means abstaining from certain tools, or products, and is likely less convenient, but it would come with more privacy, and better property rights

It’s certainly one of the things Nostr can help with

The fact I know about Bitcoin = luck

That luck = a opportunity to teach

Teaching = the logical next step

Logic = good vibe

High vibration = abundance

An abundant mindset = key to life

Lots of work to do 🙏🏻

Don’t be afraid to travel where others are afraid

Put your money where your mouth is…

Fast track to an actual answer

It’s like in investing “ask a man what he owns, not what he thinks”

I can tell all I need from your portfolio, than listening to someone postulate for 3 hours on a podcast

Interesting tactic you’ve taken Rob

I am getting trolled

Whoever they are was having a go nostr:nprofile1qqs2sr7y57rrfm3x4272e9gmfn7hk44wrzat6v794lw0d0kkmjqwh5gpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qzxrhwden5te0wfjkccte9ekk7mt0wd68ytnsd9hxkejgy4e

I made the mistake of interacting, asking questions, and now I am getting attacked as well

Some sad people out there

😅😂

Zapping is the first functional implementation of micro-payments online

It’s massive

People have been trying for years

For the average internet user, the experience is almost entirely on digital real estate owned by a company, that is monetising their attention via adverts

It doesn’t have to be this way

It was never intended to be this way

Opt out

There’s no need for you to be the product

There is a cost to it “being free”

🙏🏻

Indeed. Which ofc is totally fair enough, I remember it well

But after a few years, you get used to it!!

Indeed

Figured that one out a while back

Took a few attempts

Don’t mind what they have to say from time to time!

GM Nostr!

I'm back after a bit of a self-enforced social media hiatus. It was Nostr, Twitter, everything.

I was more than a little burnt out after BTC HEL. I didn't really get a proper break after the conference, since I went straight back to my fiat job the next day. All I had energy for was keeping the lights on at nostr:nprofile1qys8wue69uhkummnw3ezu6r0d4jkuet5wahhy6mc9ehx2ap6xsurgwqpzamhxw309aex2mrp0yh8xmn0wf6zuum0vd5kzmqqyzletcdyt027ch9q6ss0fa2u6qtyt3uynatlm5fm33d0a38tmnyyswdk3zk .

I was also more than a little shaken up by Charlie Kirk's death. I won't say much more about that here, but the TLDR is I did a lot of thinking about the risks of being public and saying controversial things. I was strongly considering taking a big step back from the space.

Nope!

I'm back, and ready to get started on new things!

I got out to a couple of fantastic conferences, first BTC Balkans in Sofia, Bulgaria, then the Plan B Forum in Lugano. My Bitcoin batteries are fully recharged, even if I was pretty exhausted after a week of conferencing. Reconnecting with old friends and making new connections is what this is all about.

I especially enjoyed the Rockamoto in Lugano - I can't believe I get to do all this cool stuff! Thanks nostr:nprofile1qy28wumn8ghj7et0wd6xzemjv9kjucm0d5hsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj95crztnev94kj6r0dehx2tnrdakj7qpqjt97tpsul3fp8hvf7zn0vzzysmu9umcrel4hpgflg4vnsytyxwuqxt3hw8 , nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqy28wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hsqgz9ywl935u4kxced2dceq4s8zmgjh9s9d5r6rp98224q6xm58av6qehgud9 , and nostr:nprofile1qyx8wumn8ghj7cnjvghxjmcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqgxfkx0le4p7df0j8v7jwyrvux0y45kl3xapqvwagctlrdv3uyyfv5lgpykq for just being awesome! Looking forward to next time!

As for me, it's full speed ahead with the Bitcoin Infinity Show and the Bitcoin Infinity Academy! You may have noticed that I took a step back from the Bitcoin Infinity Show - it's just Knut now, at least in front of the camera. I'm still behind the scenes doing all the editing, but I couldn't keep my schedule flexible enough to join the recordings. I miss it, and I plan to change that.

And of course, I'm involved in the planning for next year's nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7mrfva58gmnfdenhyetvv9ujucm0d5qs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dsqzqu4j3jh2tp5lsfj98eh3kps9v7ddhwy4tmyqsyjgj8cs6nltk9a88cnzfe - stay tuned for all the details about next year's conference, and don't hesitate to reach out if you want to speak!

Thanks everyone for making this community amazing. I'm full of gratitude, and I can't wait for what's in store ahead.

Go Luke!

Very important to take some time off, especially when considering big decisions

Look forward to seeing what you create

Thank you for the support

It’s a great point you make, and the truth is: my souls not for sale, at any price

And that’s where this weeks realisation has come

I’ve been guilty of chasing that success

Whereas actually I don’t need to

I never need to

So in reality, what I should do is focus on creating what I can when I can

Putting no pressure on it

And that will be success in my world

You’re not here to go viral. You’re here to build signal in hostile territory.

This is Nostr. Protocol, not platform. There is no algorithm to save you. No corporation to beg. No moderators to blame. There is only what you say, how well you say it, and how often you show up.

Most will treat this like old ground. They’ll post into silence and call it censorship. They’ll mimic Twitter and call it decentralization. They’ll wait for results they didn’t earn.

That’s not you.

You’re here for war.

You take ground through engagement. Precision comments. Zero fluff. No reply guy flattery. You bring weight. You bring blood. You make the thread better or you don’t belong in it.

You quote posts to extend signal. Reposts are passive. Quote posts are tactical. You contextualize. You escalate. You reframe. You don’t say “look at this.” You say “this matters, and here’s why.”

Replies are your presence. Quotes are your force. Zaps are your vote. Don’t zap for dopamine. Zap for doctrine. Zap to build the world you want to live in.

Ten disciplined strikes in threads already burning are worth more than fifty lonely broadcasts into the void.

You are not on a platform. You are operating in a protocol. Everything you do is permanent, public, and proof of your thinking.

There are no excuses here. Only execution.

The infrastructure is neutral. The outcomes are not. You win by working. You rise by showing up. You build by speaking clearly in a fog of noise.

This is theological. This is tactical. This is cyberwar with a keyboard and conviction.

No shortcuts. No sympathy. No algorithmic welfare.

Just proof of work.

Just you.

And the wire.

Why wouldn’t you want to invest into your digital billboard in cyber space that can never be taken from you?
