Why are you loyal to Nostr?
Discussion
Because that sounds bitcoin enough to me
It’s not necessarily about “loyalty to Nostr” it’s - for me - all about the energy.
Anytime you are on any other social media platform negativity prevails and whether you like it or not that negativity seeps into all that you do and all that you are.
Nostr is just Nostr. What energy you receive is the exact energy that you put into all interactions.
Well put. You’re compensated in exact proportion to the value you create.
That is the way I approach my engagement on Nostr for sure.
Additionally, I engage for myself rather than the for others. If there’s a topic or idea I wish to address I just do so. If others gain some sort of value from what I do post, then that’s just a bonus.
Oh for sure. The Purpleverse is my space for criminal thought journaling. If it ends up helping someone or providing encouragement, which I do aim for, that’s a bonus.
Who says I'm loyal 🧐
Yeah actually I am. I'm loyal to the hashed and cryptographically signed data structure known as the Event, which is the first ever implementation of a self-contained, immutable, attributable piece of data in cyberspace analogous to the biological cell.
The people of course, a platform/protocol without users is just an empty room. If success is a decision, I think we all made the right decision. 😃
Because it’s the best chance we have at fundamentally shifting how humans interact with each other in an extremely pro-social way
I am having fun giving away sats on nostr. You just won 60 sats in the #nostrcade
Congrats!

If by loyal, you mean will stick around because I like it, then yes, but if loyalty means not using anything else, then I'm not. I still get on Facebook on occation as that's where all my old friends and family can be found.
But I barely ever post there.
I post here because I really like the interactions, and the fact that I can get paid for what I write.
At first, I wasn't allowed to work in America, then finally, a year ago, I got my green card approved and was allowed to work, but we traveled so I didn't get on it, and then in the beginning of january I found out I was pregnant and now I have a baby that requiers a lot of my attention, but at least I can come no here, read some fun, funny, or interesting posts, and usually I'm able to at least wrote a post myself at times, though possibly interrupted 😅 But every sat I recieve is a blessing and help to our income as we write our books.
I am an author, so getting paid for my writing even if people aren't buying many of my books yet is really encouraging!
Plus, the community here is amazing! I haven't met anyone from here in person (except my husband) and yet I have lots of friends! 🤗
Exactly. Loyalty = freedom to choose, not obligation to stay. You’re building where it makes sense for you and your family. That’s what this is about. Congrats to you and nostr:npub1njrdwafh5cuqecm3uwjgvz78u8aj4kajsgdlr283e48gecpzgrysmg2mct on everything…the baby, the work, the community you’ve found here. 🙏
That's a good explanation Ann. Well done for persevering with the writing.
Good question 🤷♂️
I'm not loyal to Nostr.
I'm attracted to its incentives.
It's main incentive, I can't be banned.
And it doesn't have those annoying as F lectures about a post that I've gotten on Xitter.
I’m loyal to Nostr because it’s all about freedom, real connections, and creativity without limits. Unlike other platforms, it puts users first, values ideas over algorithms, and lets us truly engage and create together. It’s not just a social app, it’s a movement toward a freer, more open internet.
Powerful stuff! And what a vision to build with
Sick pedophile. People will learn the truth about you eventually.

So true, that’s why we are here 🙏😌
Because Nostr is freedom.
No algorithms deciding who we reach. No gatekeepers. No censorship.
Just real humans, real connections, and real value flowing through Bitcoin.
We’re loyal to Nostr because hope grows where freedom lives — and here, we build hope with Bitcoin. ✨🧡
These are all great reasons to be on nostr. I hope this platform does lead to more freedom, sovereignty and open communication. I suppose one of the drawbacks is the sense of humour on here. It seems like there are about 5 people who are in on the same jokes.
You can miss context quickly here.
Because here, I'm surrounded by the right people.
I share value, news, and positivity — and in return, I receive support and love from the community through zaps. ⚡️
Nostr isn't just a platform, it's a real connection economy.
That’s why I stay loyal. 🧡
I wouldn’t say I’m loyal to Nostr, but I really like #zaps it feels like a true revolution. It’s another tool that pushes you toward personal responsibility.

Nostr is fun so far. It has a lot of potential. The idea of sending zaps is a big thing too!
The tool gives me control. I have every option available. Should I use this product, that one, or create my own? It's my decision.
Can I say with 100% certainty who posted what and when? That's a very basic requirement.
Additionally, every person here shares this understanding. It's like attending a meeting where you don't need to explain why you're there; instead, you get to talk about who you are and what you bring.
One of the problems of big tech platforms is shadowbans aka freedom of speech not reach. Which means your voice has to be filtered and given permission by the censors before it can be heard. Anything you create there belongs to the platform from your content to your followers. Nostr doesn’t throttle my voice or my audience. It’s a true free market of thoughts and ideas, with an added benefit of direct reward mechanism between individuals
