I'm just really enjoying the Foundation Passport.
What a slick, powerful bit of kit.
It makes best practices easy and enjoyable, where they were once always laborious and sometimes nerve racking.
UX should always be the first tradeoff - not sovereignty or security or shitcoinery.
Passport compromises on none of these, and has brought the user experience forward considerably.
Worth the outlay due to highest overall value-add on offer in HWW's.
Was it not foolish to expect the State and its agencies to take a principled approach to Bitcoin, when it totally undermines their ability to issue money and therefore its entire source of power?
The shitcoin exchange model was a gift to them. Bury Bitcoin in a pile of dogshit, illegal tokens and traditional fraud, and then let the State throw a towel over all of it when the party ended.
The Regulators know exactly what Bitcoin is, and its existential threat to them and their power. Make no mistake about it.
Skills before Pills.
Medications are proof of stake.
Machiavelli, writing of Flow State during his exile:
On the coming of evening, I return to my house and enter my study; and at the door I take off the day's clothing, covered with mud and dust, and put on garments regal and courtly; and reclothed appropriately, I enter the ancient courts of ancient men, where, received by them with affection, I feed on that food which only is mine and which I was born for, where I am not ashamed to speak with them and to ask them the reason for their actions; and they in their kindness answer me;
**and for four hours of time I do not feel boredom, I forget every trouble, I do not dread poverty, I am not frightened by death; entirely I give myself over to them.**
Not seen!!
It's not like it's an easy subject. 2 deflationary tidal waves hitting a level 2 chaotic system at the same time.
I have a blank page on what AI and Bitcoin look like in the same jungle.
Full nodes are still abysmal UX.
Robert F Kennedy Jr is less than a month into his campaign and I've already heard more from him than I have heard from Joe Biden since 2019. And I don't even care that much.
Seems to be quite a few coffee fanatics in Nostr. Favourite brewing method and why? ☕
I split my brews between Aeropress and a Mokka. Though I do occasionally fall back to the bean-to-cup machine for early starts!
Here's the mini Mokka I bought when in Rome.
Paging nostr:npub1dqepr0g4t3ahvnjtnxazvws4rkqjpxl854n29wcew8wph0fmw90qlsmmgt to get the ball rolling...

Aeropress, but lining up a lever espresso machine when funds and circumstances permit..
2023: AI, & Apple Ski goggles, bluetooth sensors making paraplegics walk again...
Simulation Theory isn't quite so silly anymore is it, anon?
The work of an ignoramus?
or
The work of a psychopath? (my vote)

Meeting with regulators in person....
The EU are on crack. These people are starting to look primitive.
The West, particularly Europe, is starting to look like a giant nursing home with a mortgage.
I think nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev has written about this.
he has done the best job by far.
Waiting for a real decent bitcoiner to write about Bitcoin and AI and what we can expect as they both deploy alongside each other. How they will affect each other etc. Are they complimentary? Opposing forces?
I've seen the recent content attempts - it doesn't get at the heart of the subject.
