An extremely enjoyable person to betray.

and getting longer! Dune also springs to mind.

Atlas is first amongst equals for me. Absolutely the book of my life.

How can you be a Bitcoiner without reading Atlas Shrugged?

How?

CAPS ONLY

NOSTR ONLY

BITCOIN ONLY

Given the power of technology available to sovereign individuals today, and what we can reasonably expect from now on...

Are Bitcoiners above the law?

and

If you conclude that we mostly are, what responsibility do Bitcoiners have to each other, if the legal system we've functionally emancipated from is hostile enough to ignore, and what should it be replaced with for our own purposes?

I rather like Common Law, and only seek it applied properly.

What is to be done?

This cybertruck is peak larp.

It can't tow, it cant run on diesel, the storage is shit, it can't offroad and it can be turned off. If it breaks, no-one can fix it locally.

But its bulletproof (why), its gonna be a boat (why), and its hard to scratch (so what), and its 65k.

Give me a 2005 hilux and 40 grand pls. I'll manage.

Coldcard Mk5 looking good.

I'm just punishing myself with a Twitter spaces between elon, alex jones, andrew tate and vivek, and others.

All I want to say is - we're a stronger force. We have generally better ideas and perspectives, understand the problem better. More importantly - we're DOING what they are only TALKING about.

We're more effective by orders of magnitude. And we're completely self-organised. These dudes are just dissenters in the old system. They haven't emancipated. They still believe in it, and in solutions that come from it.

Amazing thought, and bullish on Bitcoiners.

We all know what happens next. The pool that had the good idea in principle will adapt to the feedback, or will go down with the inseparable autism of the founder, and another pool lights up to capture the anti-ordinal approach but opens the door to mixers, and cleans up.

Users always win in a free and open market.

I love these guys and their values, and their software from the bottom of my heart.

I fundamentally agree with them, and this lack of connection from mining pools to mixers is not acceptable, as it attacks the baseline fungibility of our money.

I dislike the communication in style and their personal principle of ready, fire, aim. They've assumed intent before it was necessary.

It relies on taking the worst possible interpretation of another party as the first and most likely. While that is a solid defensive strategy, it is not necessary to do in public as first act.

This is not how you foster growth and amity in a mass movement. I accept this might be how they've achieved so much to this point, and are a bedrock/vital component of Bitcoin.

If Ocean fucked up, there's a short process that can be done to establish bad faith. When it's exhausted - you hoist the block flag and attack it.

If you don't do that basic step first - my gut reaction is that the conflict and the acrimony is what they enjoy as personal, primary motivation, not the root cause of their grievances.

This has happened time and again, and it diminishes their product overall.

It's made issues they are correct about harder to highlight, and issues in the future they are wrong about harder to defend and look to.

Said my bit, they're not wrong, but this is conflict-seeking personalities leeching into their good work. Again.

Back to work.

Not your mining pool - not your medium of exchange!!

On-chain is a whale-only space.

Who's gonna tell them that internal tension, failing international efforts, and high youth unemployment is a reason to go to war, not the reason they won't...

Storm clouds are growing over the dragon's lair. US is idstracted with Ukraine and Middle East. They can't afford a third war with a superpower in a different hemisphere.

Perfect time to take Taiwan militarily is soon. Problem is, China's military is shit. But thats why that have large youth reserves and high factory outputs.

Chancellor no longer on the brink....

Upgrade your friends, it will force the function to upgrade yourself. Oldest trick in the book.

Great feeling.

Owing to persistently high on-chain fees, I'm in need of some advice.

I simply can't seem to jam an opendime up the arse of this homing pigeon, and he's starting to get upset.

Any advice welcomed.

AI will dominate the cyber world.

Anytime a carbon based lifeform travels there, they'll need a cloak of encryption and proof of work to survive.

Humans will own the physical world, AI will rule the digital. Each will affect the other, but when in their non-native realm they will be limited.

Sam fingered AI at the xmas party.
