I’m hearing more from my friend about the world of influencers.

13 of the 15 girls on the hen do this weekend were fitness influencers or similar.

Here’s my takeaways.

🎙️ No one cares about deplatforming or censorship. No one spoke of Twitter / Brazil over the weekend.

💀 Gyms in london have influence hours where you can film without bothering other normal gym goers.

🏃‍♂️ running is cool again but you have to have a big bum too. It’s kind of unobtainable. Classic.

💉 everyone has had some “tweakment” done. Baby Botox or botox, lip filler, minor boob job, profilo (smooths your skin), lazer treatments, veneers etc. it’s SO normalised among young women, apparently.

💇‍♀️ hair extensions are less cool. No one has them anymore.

🥘 all but one of them has suffered from an eating disorder.

The anorexia or bulimia or any other number of things I hadn’t heard of before had of course affected their periods.

One of them had been told by a doctor when she was 16 that she wouldn’t be able to conceive. So sad.

So she never used protection with her partner of 7 years and this summer she fell pregnant… awesome right?

Well maybe. don’t forget she and her partner had always prepared for a childless life.

Not just you. Oh, I forgot another scenario. Let off a nuke in the middle east, blame it on Iran, and begin a buildup and invasion of that country. Not sure that alone would be big enough to justify the 20 trillion they need.

Maybe let off a dirty bomb in Miami or something.

Whatever happens it's sure to be an event that is justification for locking us down and removing more of our liberties.

I don't think there is any way they let Trump be president again. And they are probably due for another major crisis to justify the liquidity injection required to finance the debt through 2025.

Who knows what those fuckers have up their sleeve.

I suppose one option they have is to let Trump be president and then create a crisis big enough that they can just completely override anything he wants to do. Like let of a nuke in some European City and blame it on Russia. In that case the military would just step in and run the show, creating such chaos that Trump's domestic policy would go nowhere.

Another option would be to do a proper assassination of Trump. Just put a sidewinder missile into his private jet. If the CIA can really control the military they could probably do that. Just blame it on a terrorist bomb or something like that.

The one thing that seems completely unlikely to me is they let Trump be president, let him stop the war in Ukraine, let me drive his domestic agenda, let me defund large aspects of the federal government, let the US treasury market implode when the debt rolls over in 2025, and quietly sit by while we all build freedom technologies. That seems pretty unlikely.

So a crisis coming? Yeah, probably. And the money print they need this time is going to require something bigger than 911, bigger than GFC, and bigger than Covid.

When I go on a hike I usually think about lots of stuff, but most commonly on some philosophical/psychological/religious/spiritual topics.

Today it struck me that in the Bible's genesis story knowing good from evil or not was a choice!

What's more, that choice was given to Eve by the Devil himself!

I see this as being in line with Ayn Rand's proposal that one of the most fundamental choices a man faces all the time is to think or not - and suffer the consequences of that choice.

We can go through life turning a blind eye to the evils that surround us, and many people do. I'm thinking many of us here on #nostr have felt the consequences of some of the evils in this world today, which is why we came here to talk about it.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is I'm grateful for nostr. May it grow and evolve into a true, massive, unstoppable forum where we can freely, and truthfully express ourselves.
