I like lots of things: outdoorsy stuff, photography, music, gardening, Drupal, programming, universities.

They need to become the party of Labor. Workers outnumber the oligarchs a hundred thousand to one.

Ditch the identity politics and focus hard on workers’ rights.

The problem is that the GOP has tricked the turkeys into voting for Christmas.

Bummer. I think my Lilygo T-Echo died. The e-ink screen is stuck on “Critical fault #12”

The lights don’t come on when I plug it in to charge and I can’t get it to mount on my computer.

No combination of button pressing will get it to do anything.

Any advice?

A lot more plane crashes. Look at recent events, and that was with just a tiny decrease of staffing.

Yesterday morning I went to a gas station that had three triple-coffee-makers. Each one had three different kinds of whole-bean coffee in hoppers with labels. The lcd screen let me pick which coffee I wanted. Upon selection of coffee and cup size, it ground the beans and pushed the hot water through them, seemingly Keurig-style.

As I drink decaf (don’t judge) it’s actually hard to find drip decaf in your average (small, local) coffee shop.

It was a welcome sight to see decent (but not stellar) decaf coffee, freshly ground and brewed on-order. And at a gas station no less.

Best gas station coffee ever.

Why don’t you consider coconut oil a seed oil? Coconuts are seeds. (Genuinely curious, not trolling, promise!)

Read the book “The Cathedral and the Bazaar” by Eric S. Raymond. Published in 1997, so not quite 35 years ago, but it’s a fantastic look at the Open Source hacking culture of the ‘90s.

In fact, growing up is strongly discouraged in the industry.
