Baby sister #3 flew down to the Sunshine state a month ago and took control of Mom's finances.
Mom has been paying bills for BS scams for years.
Occasionally I get bridged onto those phone calls with the "service providers", so I can hear the smack down when they realize the gravy train is over. I try not to laugh, bc some families are rekt for generations from these scams. But isht is kinda funny.
All that to say, if you have aging parents in Florida, Arizona and Colarado, these are the states they target. So have those uncomfortable conversations with your family and do what needs to get done. Otherwise, the scams will continue.

Many feel better being the sheep. Just the same as I meet and cross paths with the self reliant folks that are oblivious to the chatter of social media and cable TV programing, I also encounter those that are handling their bizness and household affairs with zero concern for what info is being propagated on those big, smart screens. So I remain optimistic.
But yeah, there will always be sheep. And they have their place. But for those of us that are not sheep why are we still bickering over the crumbs?!
Again, I don't think this applies to this community. But, in the old place, there are smart and capable folks too. So why are they on that hamster wheel fighting a fight that has zero consequences on the end.
Kasso has been doing what he's doing for some time w/out fan fare. So I feel it's genuine. That's my personal experience. But you come to your own conclusions.

We know that it's worked since the begining of mankind. But no one knew how to read back then so it was a widely known secret amongst the literate. But the Internet has been around for an eternity at this point. Why does it still work?! Information is largely free. You don't have to be a CEO or president to get this Intel. Kinda frustrating.
Yes, it works. But why do "they" participate in it. At this point, we all know the playbook. It's not new sh!t. F*ks sake. Can we evolve to the next stage of humanity already.

One of my most impactful and respected mentors was a professional fisherman that went corporate (CFO of a big bank) to retire and become a fisherman. I've tried it and it has never been my thing. But enlightenment happens when people who enjoy fishing go fishing.
So may you find some impactful enlightenment and share it with your family and community.

We can get along and agree on 90%+ of the issues. So, why is there a distraction from the real issues?!

When mini me became taller then her pops. She was about 20 y/o.
I want one of these.
But they are on the list of every major home owners insurance of breeds they don't insure. So then the question becomes....so?
I was on a phone call with mini me late Friday night after I shut down the work station. She is on Pacific time.
I fell asleep while she spoke. She casually mentioned it this evening. She laughed at the situation. I'm glad she did. But here I am still thinking about it. She knows I'd be there when I need to be. I think.

Came across this 3 months old #CaneCorso at the park this weekend.
She was a feisty little bugger. Quite courageous at her age.
When I asked her owner why he chose that breed (for his 3 y/o daughter). He responded "my dad decided".
On the inside, I smiled. Bc my dad chose my daughter's dog when she was born. It was a Rottie.
My point....if you are bringing a new born into the world, pair your child up with a mastiff. Just about any breed. Something about mastiff pups. They forge a bond with the babies, and there are certain things you'll never have to worry about as a dad.
Even if you lived next door to me, it wouldn't be worth the shipping fees or your time. They'll likely be dropped off at the coffee shop on a Monday with a sign "free and they work".
