I am amazed you don't colloquially refer to them as 'facehuggers' š
I don't think I have ever experienced 40C! We had about 37C here a couple of years ago which for England is pretty nuts, thankfully it was dry too so wasn't as insanely humid as it can be during some summers.
During that period I just ate a ton of ice cream and drank a load of cold larger almost everyday. Which makes me wonder how come your not all uber fat and you keep winning all the sport? Have you even invented beer down there yet? š
Anyway I bought my daughter who is 6 some Vegemite to try. I guess if she likes it we might be seeing you slightly sooner however she hates spiders.... in England....she would probably have a a nervous breakdown in Australia š¤£
Super, look forward to it one day. It's actually really nice round here it's only real downside is the price of land hence the need for Bitcoin and zapping trees elsewhere for now. Hopefully I will have set up some interesting things round here in the next few years and finally acquired an orchard. I haven't got any plans to travel to Australia maybe I should start to think about it though as it's hard to get time off apart from January.
This #Nostrees Almond tree has been planted in Macclesfield, South Australia, for Bill.
- it was paid for in Bitcoin by nostr:npub1lwy7trur3d7hz65gxq82rujnnllhsan25yfpasgfdzmtzzjf3u5q0v4zv0 for Bill via Nostr over the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
- the 63k sat cost was sent instantly between Chipping Cambden, UK, 16 388km to Macclesfield, SA. While the tree itself was locally grown and sold by a local independent garden centre.
One day I look forward to sitting under Bill's tree in my garden with my Grandchildren, yet to be born. We will eat Almonds and I will tell them the story of Bill's tree and how magic internet money made it possible.
Thanks go to nostr:npub1lwy7trur3d7hz65gxq82rujnnllhsan25yfpasgfdzmtzzjf3u5q0v4zv0 for coming up with the #Nostrees concept, offering me the opportunity to be involved and paying for the tree via BTC. I hope we can honour Bill's memory all the way down here in Australia.
#Nostrees #treestr #permies #permaculture #BTC #Bitcoin #plebchain #nostriches #grownostr

That's planted for the Aussie #permaculture genius Bill Mollison if you haven't worked it out yet.
If you decide you want to plant one of your own #Nostrees like nostr:npub13gwdzauxe7prqdy0jddar4m64jxt8efhsude7dn8efyzxekc2cfsnavqfk let me know. Soon I will be able to zap away more #Bitcoin for #Nostrees over the dormant months and we head into winter in the northern hemisphere. So just repost these notes and let me know if you are interested.
Thank you so much to nostr:npub13gwdzauxe7prqdy0jddar4m64jxt8efhsude7dn8efyzxekc2cfsnavqfk for planting the tree, if you and your family need a space to stay while on holiday in the land of tea, football violence and whinging poms I will of course sort you out. š¤
That sucks I thought Sweden was way ahead of you guys to honest. Here they are still closing all the bank branches so there are way less cash machines, but there seems to be bit of resurgence of cash recently especially after all bank account closures etc.
Hell yeah, I am going to try to see if we can find a permie to zap in Wadi Rum, Jordan. A tad more ambitious but the more I think about it the more I like the idea!
Quite like the idea of zapping the great Caledonian forest back in Scotland too. I think people there are already trying to replant that so might be easy to suggest. Will have to see what they are planting!
Get him to switch to CBD definitely helps with all sorts of cravings. Perhaps he can take more balanced strains too. Also get him to take milk thistle and NAC to help prevent any damage from the drinking.
That was getting hard to quantify in my head so I thought I would look up the circumference of the earth apparently it's 40,075.017 km at the equator. So we managed to zap a tree almost 41% of the length of the equator šš¤
Harvested this #comfrey again on monday.
Weather has been awful though so it has started to get powdery mildew. Due to this affecting confrey before a lot of other plants I started to research the mineral qualities of #comfrey and found out calcium and silica and other minerals are not as high as in #comfrey as say as lot of other fast growing plants e.g horsetail (equisetum) so while it's still a great medicinal and an extremely useful plant it may not be as good as we all want it to be!

Henry 8th debased the currency in England really badly to pay for wars and his excessive spending. Thankfully Elizabeth I was sensible enough to return it to the standard it was prior.
Nice one, knew you would do a good job. You definitely deserve a zap just for 'free range attack chooks' š. I zapped you for the trees from where I work in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire so how far away from you is that in miles/ km/pieces of string?
You could have sent them a crude Photoshop job would have taken less than 20 mins š
Yeah wasn't too bothered about that I figured it might be useful if you need any tags, but thanks I can always use it to zap the next tree.
I was thinking #nostrees would be good for trees zapped over #nostr you can add #treestr though as more general tree tag.
Would be nice to have a physical tag saying some like "paid in Bitcoin via Nostr" that and "planted for Bill" because Bill was a seditious ol' bastard š and hopefully he would have loved the idea of zapping trees to people internationally without a feckin bank fondling the money and taking a cut.
Yes please, make a note. It was just an idea and thanks to you it been made a reality. I am hoping at some point we can get some sats to some unbanked permie on an edge of a desert or other fragile landscape and keep zapping them until they have established something fairly substantial. If you find anyone let us know!
I think Wos just hated the other note for some reason! Anyway didn't want to risk zapping 83,000 in one go and have it break again hence all the smaller transactions. Guess that's the price of trying something new.
Thank you very much hope you manage to get it in the ground soon š
Would you make a few tags for it to at some point too?
I got the sats in the wallet now I just can't send them to you š
I guess Wallet of Satoshi is having a day off or something. Going to try again later if it still has issues I will have to link another wallet to nostr.

Meet nostr:npub1lwy7trur3d7hz65gxq82rujnnllhsan25yfpasgfdzmtzzjf3u5q0v4zv0, he's an Almond that is looking forward to a bright and productive future.
His credentials are:
- from a local nursery
- sold through a local independent garden centre
- 25% off
Tried to find a pecan but couldn't, my wife likes almonds so this will work well.
After the discount it was $25 around £12, if your cool with that.

Perfect, you have made my day! You can go back and buy another for that price of you like! š
Just got to load up my wallet and I will zap you the sats for it, bare with me I am just on a lunch break and things are moving quicker than I thought
Going to tag this with #nostrees to so we can hopefully keep track of them as we go along
Sounds similar to here, so that is sort of price is fine Jim. If you are really buying a lot the wholesalers are usually dramatically cheaper or you might find negotiation with your local nursery might give you a much better deal.
