Manually. Directly from Damus. I selected it in the settings as the image upload service.

It's not an error, it just means that the domain name "example" belongs to someone else and they have pointed their DNS records to a website on our server at "com".

It's actually quite common for people to use "example.com" as a placeholder URL while building their actual website.
