Es muy triste lo que ha pasado en Valencia, demuestra la enorme diferencia entre el pueblo y los políticos españoles. Mientras las personas acudieron y acuden masiva y desinteresadamente a ayudar, los políticos ponen en primer lugar sus intereses y batallitas políticas, incluso si eso significa no proveer ayuda clave en las primeras horas después del desastre. Por un lado lo mejor del ser humano reflejado en la sociedad civil española, y lo más bajo, oportunista y asqueroso del lado de los políticos españoles y su presidente. Amunt Valencia!

It seems like I don't understand it so :). Maybe bitcoin can help to end some wars; but not most. There have been many times in history when the state does not fully control the currency and numerous wars have broken out. Bitcoin is great, but is not a magic solution for everything from my prospective.

Muy triste lo que ha pasado en la comunidad valenciana, es brutal, mucho ánimo. Lógicamente, no se puede esperar mucho de los políticos, usarán los tristes hechos para su propia agenda, justificar futuros fracasos y salvar sus cabezas.

Good question, If your ln address is not linked to any wallet for a long time. I don't think they can give it to someone else, but I don't know 100%. Anyway you can link it to another wallet that a trustworthy person provide it for you (this is custodial, caution) for a while, and then unlink it, and link it to your own DIY alby hub backed by your node.

Running a full bitcoin node is a great way to enforce your rules, at least in your blockchain local copy, even against miners. But miners (more than 50% hash rate) can still restrict those rules (soft fork) in the way that you don't want, and your node will just accept it, even without running the new rules, because it is valid in the previous concensus and the chain with more work will be that, with the new rules, remember > 50 % hash rate. Can it be problematic? I think yes.

Not everyone in the world will be able to use bitcoin in a sovereign way, having unilateral access to a UTXO on chain, which I think is a problem. But, at least in my personal experience, many of the people I know don't even care about sovereignty. Maybe it's because they don't know, or maybe they just don't care at all, and everyone who wants to use bitcoin in a sovereign way will be able to do so?
