hmmm I see that when I post something to nostr:nprofile1qqs8l7cf847rw8vkkhta7v8faa066r5le7dds8tgnau7ng2d74ey2cgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgnwaehxw309ac82unsd3jhqct89ejhxtcymzaec it appears also in amethyst. But usually I use nostril.build to save and share my content. So now in #amethyst I see my posts double šŸ¤”šŸ«¤ Any idea to fix this?? Do you see also the same post twice in my feed #nostriches?? Can someone confirm? #asknostr #olas #olas365

I see it twice. But it looks like you posted it twice. Once in OLAS and once as a regular note. That's why it appears twice since Amethyst supports event 22.

If I change my relay list, I remove a relay from "Public Home" and put another one in. Obviously the new relay will not have old posts, how will clients find my posts? Will they have no reference and will they search all known relays?

#asknostr

Some relays have anti-span mechanisms. But bots and span are inefficient in NOSTR because you choose what you want to see, and why you choose to see span. And if you chose to see a bot, it's because it brings something useful.

Yes. If you are using Linux, it is probably the logs that are taking up space. Use the Du command to see where the data is. A Google search can find tutorials for this.

The State already has your bank details, your salary income and other information. It has your expenses in stores, your retirement. Knowing whether or not you bought BTC is the least of your problems. Now, if you need to hide money from the State for some reason, that's another matter, but that case is the exception and most people who worry about KYC don't do that. -- A lot of effort is wasted on something that isn't important to most people. They even put the concern about KYC above BTC, how to store BTC and their own protection.

If he just wants to learn the process for larger volumes, it is valid in the future. But it is usually a false concern due to having read some unrealistic text on the internet. There is no point in wanting BTC without KYC and every year submitting all the information for income tax and social security.

Again, it depends on the client you are using. Each client has its own functionality. Amethyst, for example, works well for following hashtags. Others group publications by relay.

Aren't Tasmota and Platformio good enough options? And I can't imagine anything simpler than ESP.

Self-custody is a question of values. Self-custody doesn't make sense for someone who wants a few thousand sats for zaps.

It's the same use of physical money that has been lost in generations due to cards. You have your wallet in your pocket for small amounts, you have the bank for larger amounts. And you have safes both at the bank and at home. Each method has its purpose. There is no single correct way to store money.

puzzlestr night with the son.

This is not censorship. No client is required to show their ratings. The client shows the ratings that he/she finds relevant at the time. There are other clients to be used. If you don't like Amethyst, look for another one. You can also fork Amethyst and change the filter rules.

People still have to learn to live in freedom, without a paternal state by their side.
