I've been wanting to make the switch for a while. How do you find it so far? Any limitations you've come across?

Omarchy (Linux distro) looks interesting. I will try it out in a VM and see if I want to make the switch from Mint.

Anyone running Omarchy?

Nice one, welcome. I've just started getting into self hosting. I have a tiny PC running Proxmox, a Synology NAS and a couple of old Raspberry Pi's. There's a lot to learn! But I'm getting there slowly.

Are there many homelab / selfhosters here on Nostr?

Interesting, I'll look into it.

Some of my favourites:

No Country For Old Men

Blade Runner 2049

Sicario

The Councelor

Zodiac

Donnie Darko

The Butterfly Effect

There Will Be Blood

Blow

I have a few spare Raspberry Pi 3 B's laying around, any recommendations on what I can use them for?

I'm currently running pihole on another.

I'm looking for hardware wallet recommendations.

What do you consider the best "basic" hardware wallet?

I'm based in Australia, so my options are limited when buying locally, but happy to buy internationally if safe.

I'm looking to switch exchanges and have my eye on nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9

What are the buy spreads like on nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9? I'm happy to loose a little in the spread considering they have zero fee DCA and free on-chain transfers (slow).

Is Strike app only?

Anything else I should know about Strike?

I am reasonably happy with my current stack, but thinking about possibly switching to Brave, from Firefox. I will trail it and see if I like it.

I find messaging to be a tricky one, as it's hard to get people to switch away from Facebook Messenger to Signal etc.

What privacy focused software / apps is everyone using? What would you recommend I check out?

It was a great listen, a topic I want to dive into a bit more, but could be a deep rabbit hole haha.

Nice. I'm pretty happy with Mint so far, so not looking to switch anytime soon. There is a fair bit to learn when coming from Windows, but it's worth the effort.

Currently upgrading to Linux Mint 22. Hopefully all goes well. Who else is running Linux Mint?

I'm getting very close to formatting my Windows 11 dual boot drive and going Linux only (I haven't booted into Windows for a couple months now).

Sorry, just realised I had to wait a while to let it load haha.

Thanks mate, I initially set up my account last year but didn't do too much with it. Going to make an effort this time to learn how it all works etc, with the aim to use Nostr as my sole social media platform.
