We’re in the midst of a massive effort over here so haven’t had the time to think laterally at all, 15 sculpture to be prepped by May 15 😅. Last week I worked as much as I do in a normal month. But it has upside for craft proficiency and necessary innovation.
one of the street artists around here is James De La Vega who does street aphorisms that are temporary in nature, in chalk if on permanent fixtures, or in ink if on temporary or ephemeral things like trash. one comes across them one day and it brings a moment of curiosity and surprise

Hmm, sure but watching gets one only so far, y’know? and if it’s real, I kinda want to leave folks alone to enjoy themselves, and if it’s not real, then what’s the point? I mean, fantasy and imagination are great, but that’s the problem, fantasy and imagination are better than fake intimacy, and real intimacy is just that, intimate. So I don’t really want to *watch* it. Gender notwithstanding.
