Desktop version of what? I send zaps on desktop...
I assume really funky, like the seed recovery process.

Also the mentorship program he advertises seems like it may be helpful. You can also even get a referral code from them and earn sats for referring your family. Https://bitcoinmentor.io
No need for a knife. The spoon cuts it.

Thanks! Cuban Puerto Asado, rice, black beans, and plantains tonight, Japanese meat doria for tomorrow. Even my kid likes 'em.

You ever try to have a nice conversation when someone comes along and starts talking about Linux? We're IMPOSSIBLE to shut up!
Facebook is blocking and banning discussion of Linux
DistroWatch and other Linux influencers are getting the gag:
"Attempts to engage in topics surrounding the open-source operating system are being branded as violating Facebook’s Community Standards, with the posts being labeled as cybersecurity threats."
At least they still allow Linux users to use the website itself, and that matters far more than being able to talk about Linux. Good time to pitch to Nostr to these guys.

Far more important...idk man, Linux users are right up there with Bitcoiners for being impossible to shut up when they start talking about it.
Those of us who both use Linux AND Bitcoin (AND hate systemd) aren't welcome anywhere. Surprised it took Facebook this long.
And if you live in a populated area...i assume, sleep in a faraday cage is the suggestion...
I wonder if M.I.A. can be talked into selling an Ohmni blanket that blocks RF. Not keen on wearing the full outfit to sleep in.
Yea, the pop star. Good friend of Julian Assange. Also known because her father was a leading member of the Tamil rebellion against the genocide committed against them by the Sinhalese majority in Sri Lanka that culminated in 2009. She played at a Superbowl in 2012 and raised a big kerfuffle throwing up two middle fingers during the performance.
Glad to help! Also, building out a network on Nostr can be fairly hard at first, as there's no algorithm that'll put your notes in front of people based on...well, anything. That, and people typically only go into the Global feed when they're feeling particularly adventurous. Some tips are to make sure to use hashtags with your notes that are relevant and match some you may have seen around, and also, post replies to other notes to get conversations going -- you may just get a follow back!
Some of the places for good general conversation I like to check are #GM, #Introductions, #AskNostr, and #memes. I've definitely also been seen quite frequently in the #foodstr arena sharing some of the foods I make. But I assume you know how hashtags work -- get out there and explore!
How many of the men have been harassed by the police? How many of the women have?
There's some ego to it perhaps -- we men sometimes like to think we're protecting some top secret information crucial to the resistance, or at least like to pretend we're secret agents. But on the other extreme I feel like a lot of women get lulled into a complacency because, at least for white middle class women, the likelihood that the state has ever seemed like much of a threat is particularly low, unless they've set out to make themselves a threat to it (love those ladies ;-) ).
I've been stopped enough times by police just for minding my own business walking down the street to not have any regard for their panopticon state. Guess I can't speak for anyone else's rationale.
No existen no-coiners en el universo. Solo hay pre-coiners.
What, you mean, and stop spending far more on pointless government surveillance than we ever stop, while most of the money laundering just keeps happening like clockwork anyway? That makes far too much sense to be likely to happen...

Testing out #Notedeck on Windows 11. So far, loving what I see. Nice to have something that is an actual local application, rather than just a web app (even for how much I love Nostrudel...). Almost amused that it's called alpha -- what on Nostr ISN'T in an early stage of testing at this point?
I've been trying to bring M.I.A. but if nostr:nprofile1qyvhwumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwd4hhxarj9ec82c30qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgsk5mm7h can't bring her I don't think I'm up to the task. Shame cuz Nostriches wouldbe into her fancy tin foil hats.
What's up with the posh chair? Must be a metro guy.
