I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a 10+ year focus on geriatrics. Specifically helping people help their parents navigate this current healthcare environment in the US. It seems no one thinks about their parents having a fall, injury or medical event until they wind up hospitalized and most of the decisions and responsibility falls on the children. I have written a book titled The Accidental Caregiver’s Guide: The toolkit for navigating the healthcare system and aging in place. It has 153 five star reviews on Amazon. If anyone would like a copy just reach out and I can email you a free pdf. Also happy to post the book for free on nostr if there is a way to do that. My wife and I are actively reducing our hours working for someone else and look to spend more time raising our young daughters and focusing on our health.

Things seemed to go as well as possible. Will update. Thank you for the prayers.

#prayerchain prayers for my wife and our youngest and the medical procedure tomorrow.

#prayerchain prayers for my brother and an important meeting today in TX.

Nice l! Looks fun. I just played a pretty sweet mountain course this weekend. It was a great day.

Depends on the chiropractor. On the whole I would recommend physical therapy. A good PT who specializes in Maitland technique who is also an orthopedic clinical specialist should real be able to help you out. If you got the chiropractor route make sure they aren’t trying to make you a customer for life. A good PT will help you get well and teach you how to maintain your health on your own. Full disclosure I’m a PT who specializes in geriatrics but my wife would fit the description of a PT I would recommend.

Thought I’d go with the boot initially but because she had no desire to balance it on her head, it looks like she’s being stepped on. So we switched it up to the flip flop. She was very happy to get some cheese after posing. #shoeonhead

Just trying to learn. I use brave currently. Thanks for the response.
