People are brand-conscious these days. That can be used to our advantage.

I have a small brand that I own, it’s just a logo that I hand-stencil on t-shirts. My son and I came up with it last summer.

Now it’s got a strong Bitcoin statement with it.

It’s not just an off-brand hat with a Bitcoin sticker on it. NewEra is the gold standard in hats.

What Happens Here:

people do stuff, then they talk about it or just put up photos of what they accomplished or what they’re working on.

Lots of memes, much fewer video shorts or selfie videos of people complaining. Nobody wants to hear that crap anyway.

One thing there is a lot of here is a whole lot of practically smart people in a lot of different walks of life. If you want help with something, just write out your question and then put

after it and lots of people check it out and you should get an answer quick. There is no Customer Service number or email, just everybody here working on stuff.

It’s a very tightly knit but welcoming community at the same time. We have in-person meet-ups too, unlike twitter where you may meet someone and they have a twitter account but that’s like finding out someone else drives a ‘22 Civic.

That said, it’s a big deal when you meet someone and they also use Nostr and a bigger deal when someone is introduced to nostr and comes aboard.

Calling it a night. Finished one picture and started two additional ones.

What’s different here is that

a. I know I won’t be shunned by my followers if I don’t manage to update everyone with photoshopped selfies of me drawing in a hip coffee bar everyday

b.i don’t have to the Konami code to the company algorithm so it becomes my promotion machine
