On the article portion, was definitely a good mentality to break out of the mold of the bitcoin NPC cult mindset of NGU. As is implied bitcoin can be used as a tool to help one improve oneself but it does not automatically do so. There are layers to this problem and an especially important one is social capital as mentioned in a “Rock Paper Bitcoin” episode and too hyper focused on bitcoin NGU is obviously detrimental to this as well.
