Now that I think about, this whole Bitcoin reserve thing also feels like it is the government appropriating a tool of the people for its own use, so therefore it's not considered #countereconomics or rebellious to do BTC anymore since it's under the State now instead of the people. It's kind of the same with gold and silver too now that I think about it, even though I like the idea of going back to a bimetal standard.
This is yet another reason why it's important to have a spare wheel in the crypto game, which in my opinion, should be Monero, Piratechain, or some other privacycoin. It doesn't hurt to have a backup plan ladies and gentleman.
