Which is more sexy, thigh highs or early onset dementia?

I was aware BPA & receipts were dangerous, "hormone disrupting" is difficult to believe or define though

In the phrase "what time is it", 'what' is a determiner, but in the phrase "what is the time", 'what' is a pronoun

When life gives you lemons, ask "got any grapes?"

It's ModuleScripts, Jim.. but not as we know it

I think some people from the United States are so afraid of taxes for one main reason: that when they pay tax to the government, instead of receiving improved public services, better healthcare systems, or higher financial support in return, they often get

- Censorship laws

- Nuclear arms races

- Increased housing costs for 'single-family homes'

- Immigrants and asylum seekers removed for no reason

- Propaganda that trans people are the devil

etc

Would LLMs like GitHub Copilot/Codex/ChatGPT write better code if they had access to some sort of data for what the purpose of each token in the given input has, analogous to how syntax highlighting helps humans write code?

I can't wait for technological advancements to finally plateau, so everyone can start focussing on optimising software and extracting real performance gains rather than just incremental gains from hardware improvements

Ah yes, the Freedom brought to us by the Personal Car Industry will finally be what helps us beat all the authoritarian and totalitarian governments

Anyone who has done any actual work on the Roblox platform knows that posting any of these videos serves to do nothing except discredit your opinion. They are ridiculously unrepresentative of the Roblox community and developer economics system and get some of the most basic facts about the platform incorrect.

Calling Roblox helping children to learn programming 'child labour' is just fearmongering and I don't even know where the idea we "work in sweatshops" comes from. The creators of these videos took one misleading comparison, turned it into a statistic, and constructed a stream of misinformation based on it. I don't trust them to get very much correct about game development at all anymore

It's excellent for learning, but there's a huge amount of misinformation about the company being spread just because of how it works slightly differently to other game engines. There was one group that took one misleading comparison and created a saga of lies around it.

a system that promotes copying in all forms, and provides instant distribution for modified content. As such it's futile to try and prevent this from happening with any kind of legislation.

That's true, and it's not like books and plays and other materials didn't exist before copyright, and there was absolutely still reason to create them. In modern times, the internet is the perfect example of

Yes I have, that's why I felt specifically targeted by your first post lol.

If effort is required to make something, compensation for the creator's time can be given in money, then after that the asset should be shareable freely. However, if it doesn't require as much effort to distribute an already existing asset, it's less clear whether distributors should require to pay or be paid.

Alright I'll back up, I don't think this is related because providing a service doesn't result in a product as an end result, and as such takes effort to transmit, provide, or distribute, in a way that isn't applicable to many copyrighted materials, which in the modern world can be sent and received with almost no effort or energy cost after the original creation of the material.
