On my desk I often will have a video podcast (YouTube) playing on my phone while at work. I look at it only when I want to (such as when the podcaster plays a video clip -- e.g., Daily Wire, Liz Wheeler, Megan Kelly, Tucker Carlson, etc.).
But when I know I'm listening to an audio-only podcast, I listen on an audio-only podcast player.

I actually prefer it--you get to read faces and body language (which is so important to communication).
Having said that, if I'm doing something else, and just want the audio, no problems there either.
Every used to download video Podcasts from Miro back in the day? You'd find them on a podcast directory and subscribe to a video RSS feed.
