When developing a Nostr app for Android, remember...

I think full Amber support is also important for web apps.
Yeah it makes life a lot easier being able to manage all my signing in with a single app.
I also have multiple browsers and only Firefox has my signer, but only Chrome does PWAs.
I've come to enjoy keychat for this. Sign in with Amber, and it has a built in extension that uses Amber.
Keychat greatly helps with this and does support amber so there really isn't any excuse not to
Yeah, pwa should use amber or nip-07 for just a plain old web app. I’m good with either.
This should be a must.
I was bummed when I saw Will's responses yesterday. I was eager to switch to Damus for a few weeks, if not longer.
Native Singers in general.
In Zapchat I check for any signer and only display the ones that are actually detected on your device:
Stop worshipping Amber like it is and will forever be the only signer out there.
It has terrible UX.
I'll drop it the moment I have my own.
Agreed, but lol "worshipping", it's a meme, settle down. What's the other native Android option that one can use? Please, make something better than Amber, options are great.
nowser
Looks good, and literally can't compete in the APK space now because everyone only implemented Amber.
It's a drop in replacement for Amber actually. When I click an Amber link I get the option to use either to login. Yay for standards 🎉

Oh yeah, by the nostrmo guy nostr:nprofile1qqszjvsfwh0c2hlrffa5ttdzgg0zcaquxlqpx6gplerhzvafr6cckpcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qg4waehxw309ahx7um5wghx77r5wghxgetk9u0ww7wd
It doesn't need to be Amber, that's just a stand in for key management software in the meme. Pasting your nsec into every app is ridiculous, considering once it is compromised you have to start all over. It makes sense to have a single app control that, limiting your keys exposure.
:110percent:
Ok, worshipping might be the wrong word.
But putting its name and link in :90percent: of Android apps, is a high pedestal.
Same with Alby for web. Those are extremely weird and unnecessary choices, especially for devs talking about decentralization 24/7.
