Nah man just take the leap buy an old s9 underclock the shit out of it. Use it as a heater and tell the wife it's cheaper than the furnace!!
It was not easy to get the wife on board with me doing a DIY central heating just as we went into winter. But I just kept at it for a while and showing progress with the design and inviting her downstairs to our warm basement over the period of a few months. Wore her down 🤣
This is the way! Hahahah I'm actually starting to look into swapping out the old furnace for a s19...I might need video evidence of how "quiet" they can be in order to persuade her
