BITKEY IS MUCH EASIER TO USE AND BETTER BUILD QUALITY.

Jade has a screen tho!

JADE IS LESS SECURE THAN COLDCARD AND HARDER TO USE THAN BITKEY.

WOULD NEVER USE IT PERSONALLY.

Why or how is Jade less secure than bitkey or cold card?

Yea, I would like to know too, I just bought a couple of Jades for the fam🥲

Adam back seems legit

Jade is only "less secure" to a Coldcard if the Coldcard is part of a multi-sig setup made up of other geographically diverse hardware wallets. Otherwise if it's a single sig Coldcard it's more secure assuming the use of the 2of2 or 2of3 account types in Blockstream Wallet. It's cool if you dig Coldcards, but don't spread misinformation.

If you're storing the seed in the device, sure. But simply using it as a temporary airgapped signer, how is it less secure?

Think the Jade has to dial home when you get it's initial keys or something. It sends something to blockstream from memory.

Bitkey relies on a 3rd party server.

I don't like the idea of dickheads dns-spoofing with MITM type crap... or having to rely on a online server.

having said that... Dad has one. He likes it.
