What are you making with this nettle?

The nettle is very nutritious, your dinner is ready!π
If you're wanting it less fibrous than I'd only take the tops. If you're using it for tea and will dry it then you can take a little more than just the tops. I'm assuming these have just come up (since it's spring), so they really shouldn't be too fibrous anyway.
Makes sense, the top leaves are the youngest thus theyβre likely less fibrous - making them more palatable. Nettle doesnβt grow here well, but lambs quarters does and that is the reason why you only harvest the tops on them. The old leaves are probably just fine for a tea or medicinal purposes.
It grows anywhere the ground is disturbed here.
My wife lives foraging for nettles, I think you should be able to eat all the leaves, I believe most people prefer not to eat the stems. I'll double check with her.
