It isn't abandoned. I've just been working on some other stuff over the last 2 months. Happy to add more features if ppl dig it. Just want to get the hosting side better figured out so I don't have to be the main one responsible for hosting all of the content.

What would it take to plug into the IPFS content network or something similar so you don't have to host a file at all if you don't want to?
