I picture a future NIP repo as a merkle tree. At the root we have nip01 and probably things like nip10. It can then split off into a more free market structure of competing ideas and factions (like https://github.com/damus-io/dips )
Then just let natural selection of ideas run its course.

Will be better when we have more email-like clients. Something i want to do sometime in the future. Its hard to collaborate on nips without some kind of async comms structure with archiving notes, etc.
