I think MSTR is a problem and bitcoiners simping for this nation state capture game annoys me.
Discussion
Simping is bad but why is MSTR a problem
Fractional reserve style fiat game ripe for gold like nation state capture
The question is:
Does honeybadger care, if you don't like some of the people who are buying Bitcoin?
He doesn't. He's never cared.
Literally Hitler can buy all of the Bitcoin he wants.
That’s entirely not the point of my note but okay…
The point is that you think we should care about this stuff, but if I have to care about this stuff, then Bitcoin has failed.
You think I think you should care when in fact I never said that. I said it annoys me. Telling…
Because my whole feed is full of this stuff, lately. Tempest in a teapot.
if there are not enough people that care about this stuff, Bitcoin *can* fail.
"shouldn't have to" is a privileged position and a potential threat.

There’s no such thing as a “bitcoiner”
At least not in a talk where MSTR simping takes place
🤷♂️ It’s like referring to someone as an “interneter”.
I would draw a distinction in that the early adopters of bitcoin are a much more significant part of the network than the later adopters.
That inequality doesn't work the same way with the internet more broadly.
While the term can be overused/misused/expanded beyond its bounds. I think there is such thing as bitcoin culture, though it's defined by each individual (which is a very bitcoiner thing to say)
We are far beyond early adopters of Bitcoin. The term “bitcoiner” does not mean what he thinks it means, other than what it means to himself.
Terrible take. A bitcoiner is a person who holds their own keys, aka actually owns bitcoin and not paper bitcoin. The term Bitcoiner is more important than ever with all the morons cheering for governments and corporations (=government by proxy) to gobble up Bitcoin and normalizing paper bitcoin.
That’s what it means to you.
Dude every concept in life is subjective and bound to the imagination of those using it. That’s a nothing burger or a statement. Then please stop using words altogether.
Plus, in this case you’re wrong. You need to own bitcoin to be a bitcoiner. No?
That creates such a broadly defined category of people as to be useless for defining anything, and especially useless for being able to say what is or isn’t problematic behavior. I can appreciate that you have some personally defined set of ideals and principles by which you want to live and use your money, including your bitcoin, but that doesn’t make everyone else who owns some bitcoin subject to your ideals in any way shape or form.
That’s a lot of word salad to just say „I simp for paper bitcoin“
Just answer my question. In your view: is it a prerequisite to own bitcoin to be a bitcoiner? C’mon it’s not that hard.
MSTR is draining the bond market into bitcoin, printing new fiat via bank loans into the bond market, and accelerating the collapse of fiat clown world. LFG
What’s the problem?
Gold 2.0
How?
The government didn’t seize gold. People turned it in voluntarily. Do you think corporate level of compliance will be higher or lower compared to that?
