Nostr is exploding with growth. The total amount of pubkeys writing events has passed 2 million. We're fast approaching 20 million total events published.

Cool

I blame it on PV

How does it compare to other social media right now?

i don't use twitter all that much any more. my people are here.

πŸ––

Anyway to see number of zaps or total value transferred?

it does include the total number of zaps. though that number seems low at 3200+. maybe it's correct.

Yesterday's #zapping ⚑ entirely attributed to #[4]

Lol! #[3] is a fellow stackchainer and has experienced first hand how us stackchainers go wild when stacking and zapping! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (I zapped like crazy yesterday!) ?cid=2154d3d7bv6dmxrwvg960oe0pxz5o45to3bixf95zjspfpj1&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g

sometimes we even cross the streams.

Out of which I think my notes make up nearly 10% of all notes written on Nostr.

You're welcome 😊

if it's not you padding the stats, someone else would be!

More than happy to do it for every Nostrich in Nostrovia

How many event type 2?

kind 2 is not shown.

#[3] how many event 2s you seeing?

Don’t have reports for that one…

Nice! 156k users looks like a healthy start!

We are not that recommended anymore because the relay is too sluggish. Needs a couple weeks of full attention to be back at high performance.

Now i get why twitter change to 4000 characters this week. Nostr is taking over.

Wait a minute.. you mean . We're crazy early?

we are.

If the average nostrich has 4 accounts between different platforms though? It's still millions of people

That stats page doesnt load for me. I'm using brave browser.

Dat bios number tho πŸ€”

We do have a lot of spammers generating keys. Also, there are so many people a that have problems updating their bio information. I see this daily via Nostr Plebs.

#[0]

The total Zaps sent is also parabolic

how do you query that?

could you plz explain short what you mean with query in this context. eng just my second language.

wondering how you or others pull data about a decentralized network? it doesn't work like Bitcoin where anyone with a node can pull data from the Blockchain... right?

yes. but you can pull of data from all the relays and you can analyse it.

check out nostr.brand maybe they got a FAQ

#[0]

How many are autogenerated bots is the real question?

That's hard to tell as spammers are starting to use Nostr more and more.

#[0]

There's a lot of talk about your post.

Added to the https://member.cash/hot feed

Holy shit. It's happening

To put that in context, that's already more than the no. of active users on Mastodon which has been around for 7 years! (apparently there's 7 or 8 million total Mastodon accounts though, and between 1 and 2 million active each month)

The signal is getting stronger.

Nostr protocol connects people and can lead to the unprecedented continuous optimization of what humans can do together.

Imagine that!

Did you noticed this quick growth on your relay node?
