It would have first class GrapheneOS support where we can modify a lot of the firmware and build the Snapdragon userbase code. It would provide all of our security requirements once Snapdragon adds memory tagging support.

It would fully support non-stock operating systems (i.e. not the official GrapheneOS builds) too. Essentially, we would be paying to have the privilege of actually being able to securely support the device and build the device support code ourselves with vendor support.

If we sold a lot of devices, we could then use the money from that to fund the next generation device in 2-3 years and/or to extend the support time longer. We could start with 5 years of support and extend it up to 7 if we sold enough or got enough donations.
