My journey from North Korea to freedom taught me that true freedom is more than escaping physical borders. It’s about breaking free from systems of control. So I see Bitcoin as a tool to help people regain their freedom, not as a matter of being a "Bitcoiner," but as a way to empower individuals to protect their fundamental human rights.

welcome to nostr ❤️

Welcome Hyeonseo

So wonderful to have your voice here! Warmest of welcomes to you 🤗☀️

Attention there are a lot of strange lasereyes Bitcoiners, which are hoping that beleaving in bitcoin could serve them as a spiritualmway through hating fiat money. But anyone can configure the nostr to his or her likings. So feel free to share and read the things your intrested in ...

Welcome!

Do you have a book, article, blog, or anything written where you discuss your journey to freedom? I would love to read more

The term ‘Bitcoiner’ can be quite divisive but at its core it embodies individuals who want to protect their fundamental rights imo

For consideration, America is no longer free as a result of a script to shred our constitution in our faces through programming our brains to accept certain events as factual when they're entirely made up (or at the very least, not what they seem).

Now yes, America does have a wonderful constitution if it existed like the Declaration of Independence (both documents conflict with each other), but we are not under that anymore. No, we are under a set of laws that nobody can seem to break without getting 38'd (numerologists know what I am talking about) for 113 (again, for numerologists) under that set of laws, which in themselves are 113.

All this for your consideration as we are freeing ourselves from technocracy.

Ditto

Welcome and so happy you're here. Your work is incredible.

Love this take.

Bitcoin is for everyone, Bitcoin is simply a system free from bias and unfair manipulation. Soon the term Bitcoiner won't even be used, because everyone will use Bitcoin.

Inspiring!

Is she selling anything? Because it sounds like she is catering to a certain demographics.

Her book. Yes.

I'm reading it now. We should read it before passing judgement IMO.

These stories are unbelievable.

Thank you for taking time to answer. Curious to know if you like it.

Hyeon’s book is absolutely a work of literary art. By the time I was halfway through this book, I was riveted to it until it was done. Simply couldn’t put it down until we got to the end. I’m a pretty unemotional person, but almost felt like crying several times during the last half of the book.

If you live in the west, it’s hard to even imagine what her life has been. She’s clearly extremely smart and now that she’s free will probably have one heck of a career.

There are so many takeaways from the book, can’t post them all. But one key take away is how we are all so brainwashed and how hard it is to break free from whatever narrative you’ve been raised with.

The smartest among us understand this and use it to their advantage if they’re evil.

Hyeonseo Lee will help people understand this with her book, “The girl was seven names” - it’s highly recommended IMO!

Thank you, I will give it a shot

Wow I really wanna read it

I have not read her book. So not an informed opinion. But the west really needs to understand what the Iron Curtain created, nothing good. To my mind it was an experiment in far left socialism that engulfed half of the planet. And it failed miserably. Our schools and universities put dangerous ideals in the minds of the young.

Your story is amazing. We are traveling listening to your book and have 3 hours left. Fantastic perspective and worth the read!

I am happy for you 😊

💜🙌🏻

Glad to have you in #Nostr friend 🤗

Well said!

If North Korea produces women as hot as you they must be doing something right. Just saying

Ya it sucks BC like that chance that btc has been co-op'd is like ....more then 0℅ chance but Thankfully also less then 51% chance . Like they can't successfully attack the network with hash power but they can attack our brains with fiat and stuff .

I’m enjoying your book very much

Is Bitcoin used secretly in NK?

I was lucky enough to meet nostr:npub1t8lmu87g980vlyr92sut6t0n57m5dm62q3356nhfu2qtkm89798qqwsf7p in Nashville last year. Have just finished her excellent book; highly recommend that everyone picks up a copy and reads it too.

Absolutely extraordinary account of incredible courage in the face of overwhelming odds, and the clearest insight I've ever read into the extraordinary North Korean regime. Kudos to her and all her family.
