We need algorithms. Their addictive learning algos are the secret sauce.
Of course for nostr we value transparency and these being voluntarily, but I'd love to see algos that would show me new things that may fit my interests. I don't think DVMs are quite the solution - at least not in their current incarnations.
Algos don't have to be evil for bad. We could have an addicting algo on Nostr. It would be better if it was OPT-IN and OPEN/TRANSPARENT. That's how we win.

Olas has a Reels section for vertical videos. I'm hoping for a rename to Rips π
TikTok is valuable for it's algorithm to pull you in and keep you engaged. That's really it, IMO.
Left Instagram a long time ago for this very reason! π Just having some teething problems via TestFlight on IOS. Canβt wait for the full version of Olas (90 days!).
