Let’s get this on #Nostr — would love to read and highlight. 💜🤙
That’s wild that I wrote that more than 6 years ago now.
I think you, or someone, should copy this directly into a nostr note. The whole thing. We need to bring all this stuff to nostr and cut out the retarded platforms that want you to sign up and wade through their popups. Obsolete the bitchfaces.
He probably didn’t mean it that way, but it feels awfully close to idolatry.
Typically not a fan of people speaking as if they see Bitcoin as savior or idol. Slippery slope into worshipping money.
The messiah came and shall return, place your faith only in Him.
In this concept messianic is being used to mean a movement, or attitude that carries a passionate, almost zealous sense of mission to save, transform, or redeem something. Which describes bitcoin pretty well. We’re not Christ, far from it. But we’re on a hero’s journey.
I understand, but religious people outside our echo chamber maybe get the wrong idea. Just my 2 sats

A profound meditation on Bitcoin as a new form of law and freedom rooted in cryptographic truth. A compelling vision of sovereignty beyond the state....⚡⚡🧡
To be clear: Yeshua the Messiah, the Anointed One already came as Redeemer: “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (Jn 1:29; Mk 10:45).
That’s why He will return as Subduer: “with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked” (Isa 11:4; 2 Thess 2:8; Rev 19:15). Redemption gives Him the authority to judge.
And let’s be clear: as great as it is, Bitcoin can do neither. Salvation and judgment belong to Christ alone. Bitcoin is simply the hardest money ever created.
Big if true
