Sunflower/olive oil or butter

Coconut oil

Cold pressed Mustard oil is also good but it is really pungent for eyes.

Fat from cooking animals.

Seriously, if you use CI all the time, then it seasons itself.

If it’s brand new then go gram a block of Manteca lard and rub that in. Animal fat works its way deeper into the iron than vegetable oils.

Thnx

I use light olive oil. Not extra virgin. The light stuff has less flavour and a higher smoke point.

There are better options, but I like olive oil.

Thnx, surveying pleb preferences

butter only always. Seed oils are terrible for the body.

I might try grassfed lard once, yea ₿ #seedoildiscrespector

Myth in my opinion… everything in moderation sans sugar and highly processed foods.

I agree, everything in moderation! But seed oils are in almost everything so I think it’s better to avoid whenever possible.

Ask npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak about seed oils and he’ll let you know.

New babe guys, ever used the tag #babechain? #seedoildisrespector

I rub olive oil on mine after I use it

I use a mix and do it a few times over an open fire….lard, ghee, butter, tallow.

Gotta put that fat to work man, unused fat is as useless as unplayed disco music.
