⚡🇦🇹 NEW - An Austrian politician, Gunther Fehlinger, Chairman of the Austrian Committee for NATO Enlargement, issues a warning that if President Trump takes control of Greenland, the European Union will confiscate every American military base across Europe.

He says this is the EU’s ultimate leverage over the United States and vows that Europe would seize full control of the bases and operate them on its own terms.

Günther Fehlinger is a semi famous Austrian social media clown and lol cow. Her runs his "Committee" from his flat and, at the hight of his career, somehow managed to get some television exposure on a talk show on the channel Servus TV. Please don't get fooled by the serious sounding names and his appearance.

I endorse the idea of leaving our bases in Europe, with a Roman style ‘look to your own defense’ note left on every gate. Chicago could certainly use some boots on the ground, as well.

But the idea that European (esp. western European) nations will be ‘taking’ them is the funniest part of my morning. 😂
