I didn't want anything to do with it until Nostr where I saw first hand the ways in which it could help without feeling "sold something" which is a miracle cause a good percentage of the posts here are bitcoin centric.
Along the way the noise settles and you're able to see it in so many perspectives (positive and negative if you follow the Monero feud🤭) that you genuinely feel you understand it enough to make a decision.
I totally love bitcoin now and am trying to orange-pill folks too but I understand the rot in trust the NFTs and the BROs caused so I personally avoid the main talking points until I gauge where they're at.
