I don’t know what any of that means but I know you do. I’m gonna trust you on this and I’m gonna bet that it’s probably good.

This is not the way

I'm with #[2] and I can't wait to use this over holdhodl

We are with you #[2] Godspeed

Nice. “The ultimate goal is to create an open protocol for Bitcoin/fiat exchange that can easily be used by mobile clients, and an inter-operable global orderbook with censorship resistance and decentralization properties as afforded by the Nostr relay network."

That would be bad ass

Oh shit! That's awesome!

🐂

Operation go choke yourself Uncle Sam

Yooooo.

This is inevitable but why do I get the feeling that tying your noKYC buys to your nostr identity might not be such a good idea after all.

Good thing we can spin up as many a nostr private keys as we like and use those to facilitate the buys

True, this will be a best practice.

Looks awesome.

Can I get the mask wear alone in car explanation of how this works.

Sure, you have 2 major players,

Maker : that creates an offer to sell bitcoin and posts it.

Taker: that accepts the offer.

Both parties sing/lock a bond before any exchange of btc or fiat.

Once the parties settle their obligations, they unlock the bonds

Trade is complete

This is a dope protocol. Are you aware of any implementations?

so not live yet?

love it.

#[2] 🤯

Still in it’s infancy, but looking good when operational.

Not trying to be pedantic, but hopefully they fix the descriptor (should be "native," not "naive"); big FED vibes from that (hopefully) Freudian slip😬

This is going to be a very important protocol after the closing of Paxful. Getting access to trade fiat for bitcoin in hostile environments is very important now and will become increasingly important in the future. Automating an échange on the back of Nostr is brilliant.
