Eating "out" frequently is a slippery slope toward becoming unhealthy.

There are simply too many variables to control, seed oils, preservatives, food dyes, pesticides, etc...

The more you cook for yourself the healthier you will be.

Agree too many variables to control, not to mention most restaurants just use tap water filled with fluoride, antidepressants and microplastics.

Dinner at home is the real chad move.

I agree

Hopefully trending towards it not being such an issue

Would add, consistently skipping dinners with friends is a health negative as well though

Eat raw meat

Eat out too much, get a big gut like this one

True! I've been very interested in food lately. I had never delved into the subject but I think that in the next few months I will study it on a par with โ‚ฟ

I have a confession to make: I haven't eaten out at a restaurant, take-out, delivery etc in 6 years and 3 months ๐Ÿ˜ณ 2 meals a day both home cooked mainly eggs and beef ๐Ÿ˜‹

and you can save a lot that way, reduce impulse buying and stack sats

Agree. Most restaurants seek to enjoy your taste not your body.

Especially in America. Almost every place you go, they use seed oil, and not a little bit: Far too much in almost every case. Many restaurants also have portions that you could make into 2-3 meals but it's a common practice for Amerifats to eat the entire thing along with appetizers, desserts and some kind of alcoholic beverages.

Although I was on a tropical vacation earlier this spring and they served obscene amounts of food in the restaurants there as well, and this was not in America.

Money saver too. When we started eating local meat, it was pricier by weight, but actually reduced our "grocery" budget (until inflation entered the fray).

I came across your youtube videos as I was looking for how to make kefir drinks. Didn't realise you are on Nostr. Incredible.

Even if you cook "unhealthy" food for yourself in your own kitchen it's still generally better than anything pre made packaged food you can buy or any fast food restaurant.
