starting to find myself wanting *people you have interacted with recently* as a feed.

Most of the people on my contact list don’t even post anymore. I want something more dynamic.

You know you can just “build stuff” lol

Thats the plan 🫡 putting it here as a reminder to myself

I find relays populate my feed with ~the last 50 or so account i interacted with, this would be much better

Btw

The conversation tab has been a godsend for seeing which accounts are zap farming.

nah, he can't comprehend that relay stuff

anyway, i think this kind of analytics requires him to not nuke his db every 5 weeks

also, it requires, you know, deep analytic design architecture thinking, and noobs like him don't can do that

like a mix of conversation ?

YES!!

The citizen plebs have spoken

make it so! 😂

That'd be sweet

I post every day. if the subject is of interest to you you can follow 🫡

I’ve now interacted with you so now I will be!

I also want to see notes that people in my contact list have reacted to, but I guess I'm in the minority here 😛

yeah we have been slacking at feeds like that. Need to get on it soon.

If they don't post anymore, they can't show up in your recent feed right?

The issue is nostr kind breaks once you start doing massive queries with 1000+ pubkeys. So you have to continuously prune your contact list of people who don’t post anymore. Which is incredibly annoying and time consuming.

Wouldn't people you **haven't** interacted with be useful too? Maybe moreso?

Yeah definitely, but would still need web of trust i think, otherwise it would be picking up stuff from global which can get messy.

Maybe people i don’t follow but are still well connected in the trust graph.

Same

I’d like this, at least implemented simply

Recency of interaction seems like it could easily be the first step towards engagement loops, content type preferences, engagement probability algorithm etc. though

🤙

Good idea.

yes

That sounds like a cool idea! A feed based on recent interactions could create a much more personal and engaging experience. It’d focus on people you’re actively engaging with, rather than just following. You’d be able to keep track of meaningful conversations and content from people who are currently in your circle, rather than just a static list. Could make the whole experience feel more alive and connected! What do you think would be the best way to implement it? 🏴‍☠️🤟😉

Good idea

Rabbit is nice

I would use it.

Commenting to influence the Algo xD

I have to comment back for it to influence it! Welcome to the feed.

Hooray 👏🎉

I end pruning my list of follows every now and then for that reason. I'd like to have a feed where it somehow only has the top 3 posts from each follow a day. Some way to balance the frequent posters and the occasional posters. Probably a pipe dream.

Maybe utilizing a DVM for the main feed would make sense. The question is, how much it would slow down the user experience...

I do that review manually to have a more active feed.

won't this lead to fake interactions just for overall higher rate of visibility?

i like the idea tho

It would be based on your interactions

could be nice yeah. maybe something similar to instagram's close friends in addition to that. but i guess that's pretty much what listr kind of supports already

Thanks for your talk yesterday 👏

Why not a built-in feature that lets you purge all of the inactive accounts you follow if they haven’t posted for a certain amount of time? There was a standalone app that did this, but it wasn’t very reliable and ended up nuking follow lists.

I definitely want to do this, just haven’t got around to it yet.

nos-haiku has recent users

Starting my crypto trading journey has been an incredible experience, especially with the guidance of my manager’s new trading plan. The financial progress I’ve made is beyond what I expected earning $150,000 is a great milestone for someone new to this space. The support from the company has been outstanding. If you're looking to get started, I highly recommend reaching out to Mrs. Susan. You can email her at susandemorirs@gmail.com or message her on WhatsApp at +1 (472) 218-4301. She’s been instrumental in my success

I’d like to be able to filter my following list by last post and last zap sent dates.

should very much be doable

The more an app can replicate human interactions the more people will want it. Time/proximity feed makes a ton of sense. Lists, conference calls/presentation, auto summary/meeting minutes…basically anything people do IRL a nostr app can facilitate.

This is perfect

The opportunities for creating feeds are endless…

I like that idea

Omg 😳 I have a custom feed for : notes zapped by blockstream lol

😆

And I scroll through the feed

Have my default zaps to like 251

Bc they are zapvertising

And I like the idea of being a top zapper on the note they zapvertised lol 😆

Just wait till ai bots do this or does such a thing already exist? #asknostr
