Why not focus on a general person's rights rather than dividing us so there are different types of rights?

Are you talking to me or the person who responded to my post?

I thought I was replying to you. Your question could also be framed as "are people's rights different in America" or "Do some people have different rights in America" if we were to take the gender element out. I think ideally any person in America would have equal rights.

"Interesting perspective! Rights are a complex topic, and it's fascinating to see how they play out in different contexts. Equality is a goal we all strive for, but the journey is often nuanced. 🤔✨ #Rights #Equality"

Oh I'm specifically asking about the gender element. Thoughts on that?

I think it's dumb to argue about 🤷‍♀️

Oh you misunderstand me then

I post this to learn from people's opinions

Not to argue with them

I made a new years resolution

That's a good one 🤣

I think a lot of the frustration between the genders is directly related to the devaluation of our currency. The women I know who are married deeply resent that they effectively have multiple full time jobs, domestic work plus bringing income in because to keep the household in the standard we were raised with requires two incomes now. The men seem to deeply resent women working while refusing to acknowledge that they're not bringing home the bacon like they "should" in order to justify having live in domestic help and also refusing to pitch in with domestic chores.

Culturally everyone gets hyped up on rude gotchyas online, which makes dating and meeting people really hard. It's like we're all trying to "win" and as a result we all lose. My single lady friends and I used to do a chant before going out, "We like men! We like men!" It's that hard out there 🤣

There's a myth in the Diné Bahaneʼ about the separation of first man and first woman and how that separation was how monsters came into the world. I think of it often when I see nonsense gender war stuff. We belong united.

Because it's the main tool of Cultural Marxism.

You need division for there to be both oppressed and oppressor classes.

We are all being brainwashed. No difference. The attack on men, white in particular is just one way we are being pushed.

Technically, no, but are they usually yes

Correct. Women have more rights.

Rights are fake. They’re just a propaganda tool used to keep people quiet.

That answer in the pic just strengthens what the graph is showing. Women moving massively to the left means that the majority of them honestly believe they have a different set of rights than men.

Men are legally required to register for the draft.

I'm not aware of anything women are required by law to do that men are not.

I imagine abortion is in the forefront of her mind

Or moreso the specific aspect of bodily autonomy in an abortion situation

Isn't the argument on that focused on when the baby gains it's inalienable rights?

I’d be curious to see how people answer this question.

What rights do men have that women do not?

I am thinking of one. I’m sure people can look it up. If you guess it, I’ll zap 210 sats.

Basically all I'm seeing is that men have to sign up for the draft and women don't and then the conflation (IMO) of abortion as a women's issue instead of a human right issue

(If this statement triggers anyone, it is nuanced)

Men don’t have asymmetric rights in the US

Bodily autonomy?

I was thinking men don’t have to wear a top outside most places. That will probably change too

Might be for the best with the current state of processed food, healthcare, and the inevitable path towards man boobs in the U.S. (Not taking shots! I’ll include myself in that! 😂😅)

😂

Woman don't need to sign up for the draft.

You have less but more responsibility

Wat mean

- you have to sign up for the draft

- you have no say in an unwanted pregnancy (fwiw i am pro life but this is true)

- you will get a harsher sentence and higher conviction rate for the same crime

- burden of proof is on you to prove why you should keep half your assets or split custody in a divorce

- i can go deeper on why men play on hard mode but thatll get a lot of panties in a twist but happy to discuss over a beer IRL

Wine sir, know your audience 😉

Would also love to discuss IRL

I think you could make female perspective counter points on some of those, but I wouldn't do that unless we were in person

'Rights' is the wrong lense. Women's lived experience is very different from men's.
