The New Year time will be the UTC new year. There will be a live nest.

The buy in for a one character slot is 100K Sats (100,000 Sats). One character max.

NEW1 is the dealer for this event. Contact me with any questions. I will only be tracking Hash Field bets. Side bets are up to you.

Entries will be available to VIPs tagged in this note first. If there are any slots left over they will be open to new comers pending vetting process.

All entry names will be given to nostr:npub12r0yjt8723ey2r035qtklhmdj90f0j6an7xnan8005jl7z5gw80qat9qrx . They will be put on a wheel which chooses players randomly. This will determine the order of the players. Once the order is established I will be cataloging everyone’s entry. This creates a fair way to pick hash characters. The spinning of the wheel will be live and recorded onto zap.stream to verify results.

After characters are chosen the list will be posted so everyone can follow along.

I will use mempool.space to track blocks however in case they come in to close a node is required. If there is any uncertainty vic will inform us which block is the official block of the new year. Anyone with a node will be able to verify this.

Currently there are 10 slots left. This note is first come first served. If you have been tagged in this note comment whether you are participating or not.

After a winner is determined they will post a note with #thecasine to receive zap payments.

This will be The Casines biggest bet to date.

Official time for the block is GMT, first block reporting a timestamp >= 1704067200 seconds in the time field. Note that this can be earlier than reality if a miner puts in the wrong time when forming a block. Observations begin 2 hours prior.
