"We are no longer able to accept EUR denominated payments to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Please select USD for payments into these countries."

ANZ, which is Australian but operating in New Zealand
Am just in the process of moving away from ANZ as have been a pain to deal with lately. Seem very restrictive and controlling as well as unhelpful with sorting through regular life admin stuff.
I move banks from time to time for various reasons. I've never regretted switching. Same thing with internet providers and electricity providers.
In fact I was with Nova Energy and they wanted to raise my rates by something like 35%. Not only did I avoid that 35% raise but I actually got another 10% below what I was already paying by switching to Mercury. Companies will absolutely take advantage of customer inertia and mistreat you presuming you won't bother switching.
Yeah, I am about to do a revamp on all outgoings. For various reasons we are dealing with 3 NZ banks. It’s been interesting of late watching how they are handling us and our affairs. Lots of touch points with friction. Interesting times!
Finally, Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine are together again 🤗
They're too busy seizing Russian assets.
