Making bread based on Chatgpt instructions because I was getting too frustrated reading people's 1000 word life stories when you try to Google a recipe

Go to bakery. Buy sourdough.

Done ✅

Sourdough is illegal in Canada

You, my friend, are killing it lately. 👏 bravo. 👏

Wait! Is this true?????

My mind read “California” and nodded that it made perfect sense.

Same thing essentially

What?? No it isn't? Like to sell at stores?

Oooooh. Someone just finding out about Canada. 👆

Spicy.

I live in Canada and sourdough isn't illegal. Here's a bakery in Ottawa that sells sourdough bread: https://www.breadbyus.com/

Very Canadian of you, living in our capital?

I hear everyone's is deaf in Ottawa, because of the truckers' honks. It's why the politicians don't listen to the people.

Your countrymen are the ones sharing the info.

I’m just a middleman here. A referee per se. Like hockey. You get it.

I’ll let you ladies fight it out.

Why are recipe websites such virulent cancer it is insane. They’re ALL like that wtf

Blame the rules of the game, not the players. It's all because of Google's algorithm.

King Arthur baking has easy recipes that don't have a life story, where I got the recipe I use for sourdough and a yeasted loaf.

No BS just recipes.

Zap.cooking

Nextcloud cookbook app has a feature to add recipes by pasting the recipe URL and works with any site that uses the standard tags for parsing

Wouldn't be surprised if there are other tools for parsing them. Might be a need feature for zap.cooking or other recipe apps.

I wanna see chatgpt send a pic the end result if all steps are followed. That'd be checkmate for recipe sharing lol

What receive you want? 🤣 I got you if you’re using a bread machine

Some people go a bit overboard with their recipes. Each one must be crafted around a meaningful story intended to touch the heart. Meanwhile, I'm over here like, Fuck all that, I just want eat then goddammed pie!

If it is any good, share on Zap.cooking and make recipies great again. MFGA doesn't quite have the right ring to it.... but you get what I mean 😝 (I just love zap.cooking and want it to thrive).

Right? Some cool ones from the 1600-1700s though. Check out Townsend on YouTube

Bruh. Made buttermilk pancakes and kids devoured them.

Ironic because those recipe articles are written that way to optimize for SEO bots.

Cut out the middle pan.

carefulll! 😂

Recipe sites, basically.

Agreed. I have done the same... ai is internet search on steroids... you can ask it for a great bread recipe and then ask it to improve the recipe, etc. I find I can also dig deeper on topics and more easily pin point desired information. And as you've stated, it's much cleaner and direct compared to search engines hampered by seo and sponsors cutting in line. chatgpt is too woke for me, and have found venice.ai to be a better resource for my tastes.

etc.

It's not just recipes... It's everything.

Yup, AI is my go to cookbook now.
