Hey since you're on this rabbit hole, have you researched delay tolerant networking? There's a whole protocol stack with convergence layer handling for this kind of stuff.
I was aware of the existence of some patterns for it but didn't dig into it that much. Definitively something I want to implement in one way or another once I have a working version. Thanks for bringing it up!!
Actually, I think I intuitively implemented some basic patterns of it. But it seems there is a good bunch of good examples, nice.

As an start base, out of Samiz, you just need a client (Amethyst) and a local relay (Citrine) connected.
I'll probably make a demo video for the next release showing how to set it up.
