Because it’s Generating Names from Ai 😂
That’s a lot of digging up to figure a name like that.
True, but is the name more important than the result work?
Stay anonymous also mean it didn't do it for personal glory.
I understand the need for anonymity but I’m just wondering how he or she came about this name and why this particular name?
he, she or they...
I think it is just something he like. like a nickname.
So "he" had some culture, and like japan.
being mysterious and chose a multiple meaning nickname is a way to allow people dream they own story about it.
It is also a way to make legends.
SATOSHI = 7 letters = BITCOIN
NAKAMOTO = 8 letters = number of BIT in a byte
and you can list more and more interesting points or supposed origins about it, even ones "he" didn't imagine when he create this nickname.

The sentence in the genesis block is also interesting because it means his mind was open to the world and not only his country problems.
I think "he" let some clues in exchanges he had with other coders that have communicate with him.
"he" is really a good example of a full free mind that act for humanity, and not swear he will do without doing it.
Interesting 🤔
Tominaga Nakamoto was known for his critique of traditional thought and restrictions of free trade.

A lot of thought has gone into this name and to investigate historical context.
You didn't know?!

Luckily we avoided:
Shibasa Michirola
Sats would we called Shiba, we almost ended up as shitcoiners.
Satoshi, an extremely common Japanese name, usually means "virtue and truth."
Naka means "inner" and moto means "source" but Nakamoto is also a very common Japanese surname.
The name was carefully selected to have such a significance.
中 = Naka = inside, inner, center, central
本 = Moto = source, origin, origination
Satoshi is not so straightforward to translate, because the meaning of a Japanese person's first name depends on the Kanji character that was used to spell it.
Hmmm, so this person must know a lot about the Japanese origin!
Yes it's a reasonable inference!
Plus like another commenter said, it's a super generic name from a country that flies under the radar in the first place.
It's a good name, the root of the source code for truth and virtue.
Cuz KOJI
