I know all you folks are too smart to be drinking fluoridated water, right?

Please say yes.

Filtered well water šŸ’§

Reverse osmosis water šŸ™‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Pure RO water is not good for you. Make sure you add electrolytes at least.

Yeah I’m Canadian

Sorry, apparently there are communities in Canada that do, but not in my province

What about deuterium depleted water?

You can make DDW in your body by eating Carnivore

What about getting more sun exposure?

I'm campaigning to get the drinking water in my area fluoridated, and I know you are too smart to be spreading baseless FUD about it.

It's possible for some dentists to tell at a glance whether someone grew up in an area with fluoridated water or not. Adds up to millions saved yearly in dental costs for citizens of countries that adopt it fully.

FLOURIDE IS INDUSTRIAL WASTE. I CAN TELL YOU LOVE IT BY YOUR JUDGEMENT LOL

ARE YOU PETITIONING TO ADD MORE SEED OILS AND PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCTS YOUR LOCAL FOOD AS WELL?

He probably is as the guy is a certified moron consuming fluoride. šŸ˜‚

No, I wouldn't campain in favour of additives shown in reputable studies to cause harm to their consumers.

I don't understand the scare regarding seed oils, most food oils come from seeds anyway (linseed, rapeseed, sunflower seed, and of course the olive seed). Just make sure to look for unrefined/extra virgin/single origin/cold pressed alternatives.

YES YOURE CORRECT ON THE OLIVE OIL

BUT FOR THE OTHER GARBAGE, IF ITS EXPELLER PRESSED ITS BETTER BUT OTHERWISE THAT SHIT IS HIGHLY PROCESSED AND TOXIC

If you really really care about industrial pollution, production of fluoridated water wouldn't be the best place to start. Most manufacturing is made as a byproduct of synthetic fertiliser manufacture, which has small risks associated with pollution from fertiliser runoff (eg. Eutrophication). Alternative methods of production can have more direct risks like handling volatile substances and have less cost effectiveness; chemical processes like these are economically incentivised to prevent waste.

I'd suggest maybe starting with taking action to reduce car exhaust fumes in living environment? There are sure as hell no reputable studies claiming breathing that stuff in is beneficial to your health. Fluoride is only "industrial waste" in the same way that leather is.

reddit is down the hall and to the left, sir.

Ah, I see some of my information may have been outdated: water fluoridation isn't as useful now as it was in the past due to fluoride being provided by other means like toothpaste and tablets (bmj q2173).

First chart is interesting: Huge increases in dental health early on for "fluoridated" countries through water additives and for "non-fluoridated" through other means: mainly toothpastes, and some Scandinavian countries listed there achieved success through tablets. Obviously for countries like the UK and US there's no clear binary option and complex decisions regarding deployment are made more by local authorities (shown in your second chart). DMFT index drops decelerates near the end of the chart as, for most wealthy countries, fluoride toothpaste is used more as the primary method for people that can afford it.

This explains why the newer second chart shows much less of a correlation (and its more nuanced view on a local rather than national level). Older studies and studies on older population members tend to show less correlation for the same reason. Maybe fluoridated water supplies have served their good purpose after all!

Some people deserve what they get, and you are one of those people.

Deserve what? Unfluoridated water? I sure hope not!

I'll just go let the dentist know you want brain surgery so they can prep... šŸ˜‚

I'm sure it'll be fine...

Oh & I'm pretty sure those dentures they are wearing didn't cost less because they drank fluoride. 🤣

Well... I know it's added to our water. Do Brita filters filter it out? E.g. https://store.brita.com.au/collections/water-filters If not, then we're in trouble. 🫣😱🄓

They are usually carbon with some silver to prevent bacterial growth. Pretty sure they don't even make one for fluoride. Unfortunately fluoride filters are more expensive the other option is a reverse osmosis system (again not as cheap as a carbon filter).

Thank you. šŸ™

pure right out of the aquifer.

Crisp, clean well water only!

Yes, coming from a dentist. The ADA much like the AMA has a whole lot to answer for

Yes. Fortunately I’m on a well.

I'm fortunate to live in a country with no fluoridated water. (Well, only in some areas) So nope. 😃

But I have been wanting to dig into this. Is there a safe and beneficial dosage of fluoride?

I've been using non fluoridated toothpaste for the past few years and my plaque are much more manageable (oil pulling was able to get rid of all of it), no more cavity, all seems well but the research I read are quite mixed.. šŸ¤”

My great grandfather would say tap water isn't suitable to wash his feet. 4 generations later, we still wouldn't drink the crap. Would instead haul carboys from the brewery's well.

No fluoride in the water

No fluoride in the toothpaste

3rd eye fully open

I am now telepathic

Michael Connett just did a tour of NZ. to help raise awareness on this. Our messed up government wants to compulsory fluoridate our water with an agricultural waste product proven to lower children's IQ

I interviewed Connett on my YouTube channel, smart guy.

Wonder if anyone has ever successfully sued their town for the cost of removing it from their water?

Where I'm from the government stopped adding fluoride to water in 1990.

Hey Ken, reckon you could get Musk to start auditing the Dentists & related associations?

Reckon the results could be a fun read... šŸ˜‚
