Is it just me or has anyone else had a deep almost spiritual feeling through their life that something BIG is going to happen in our lifetime? I’m not talking about Covid but something truly revolutionary. The pandemic has actually made the feeling more prominent. I’ve had this discussion with a few other friends and it sounds like it’s a reoccurring “gut” feeling.

Yes, but also there have been many times in history where societies have had a spiritual revival that sweeps through a culture, country or continent. But that is not a dismissal of what you’re saying.
In my opinion, anytime somebody becomes enlightened, that *is* the big event you’re talking about.
I happen to be a Buddhist, but I think that Christians Muslims and other people reach enlightenment as well. At least some variety of something akin to what I call enlightenment.
some of the Christian mystics in the middle ages like Saint John of the Cross might be good examples of that or the Sufi poet Rumi from Afghanistan.
Many are going through spiritual awakening‘s now.
Yes, an enlightenment may be what has/is brewing. I’m glad my group of friends aren’t the only ones with this feeling.
Honestly, I’m very excited for the event(s) to take place. There’s a deep feeling of unused leadership that seems to be sprouting from within.
These are some very intellectual thoughts that I can only converse with less than a hand full of people I know. I’m glad y’all are open to these critical thoughts.
Yes I feel it too. I think pretty much all of the 8 forms of capital are being re-evaluated by humanity. From my vantage point, bitcoiners and homesteaders seem to be ahead of the curve, but the masses likely won’t be too far behind. Optimistic!
I do believe that’s the truth. People who have a tendency to open their mind and by default create resilience seem to be the ones ahead of the curve.

Yeah but, it's not the first time, that's the thing. We periodically align with that book in similar fashions (human nature and human lifespans maybe), but Renaissance our way out of it.
The only "this time is different" argument I can make is that, humanity as a whole is operating as (very close to) a single entity now. In the not so distant past, I'd argue we were much more decentralized as a species.
Well the Beast System seems to be near “you will not be able to buy and sell without the mark in you forehead or arm.” This seems to be a unique time because we never had just digital payments before where your bank account can be frozen for hate speech online.

The Jews returned to Israel after world war 2.
Travel has increased immensely in the last 100 years with aeronautical engineering.
The nuclear family is breaking down with record divorce rates and sexual immorality is on the rise.
Many more of signs that the bible warned us about seem to be materialising before our eyes.
Its a recency bias. Analogs of these things are peppered throughout history all over. Frozen bank accounts = crops burned, or worse.
But those things happened in arguable isolation. Its the global connectivity we've achieved that, doesn't change those things (today's abuses like frozen bank accounts are benign & avoidable compared to some of the past), but it opens the door for humanity to be judged as one.
During those times people were still travelling by boat and, horse and cart.
During those times people could at least escape and there was no world government being formed. There was no passports or papers to travel abroad.
There was no palm readers or nano-chips that could be inserted to do payments. Its a very different prescendent.
There was no meglomaniac psychopaths telling us the world is overpopulated and that the we can become Gods through transhumanism by merging man with AI.
But their pandemics were real 😱

The 2017-2018 season flu had more deaths than covid in 2020 but let’s ignore that fact lol.
I think covid probably felt worse for those who had gotten a bunch of flu shots prior, inhibiting their immune system's ability to apply previous immunity to covid.
I don’t deny that most peoples immune systems have been completed compromised in todays world by all the toxins we exposed to via vaccines, EMFs, GMO foods, tap water, lack of sunlight, overworked etc means most people are susceptible to flus. It gets worse and worse each year as western culture becomes more and more obese.
Not to forget the increased depletion of vitamins and minerals in todays fruit and vegetables, 🥲
What I meant was not naturally occurring. It had tremendous impact on lives lost and suffering caused. And for that people responsible should have been held responsible..:but that never happens.
I have come to the same conclusion.
I used to hate reading Revelation. It seemed so confusing. I didn't know what it meant. Now, as I read it, I think, as I read each previously confusing prophecy, we have the technology for that and for that and for that. We seem to have the technology for everything predicted, even if not fully rolled out yet. I will be surprised if I die a natural death after a full life. I think our time is short.

I know what you mean. All my life i have been wondering why i want to know how to survive in war as a civilian, how to live from nature, how ordinary people survived in nature 300 years ago, what it takes to be completely independent of of modern civilization to live. It was clear to me even before COVID that a massive collapse was coming and since I was a little boy I instinctively wanted to know exactly how to survive in the worst case. For the past 3 years my instinct has been driving me even more and i'm pretty sure that in my lifetime i'll probably experience an event of WW2 proportions, or even worse... maybe not with the total war in the world but at least the financial, social, economic and/or health disaster before/after WW2.
Since I fell into the #bitcoin rabbit hole in 2015 I have been preparing for my financial independence, not only with bitcoin but above all thanks to bitcoin and everything around it.
The game became a premonition, the premonition became an idea, the idea led to actions and meanwhile there is a possible way.
No one takes this crazy idea, my "feeling", seriously, not even in my closest circles. I don't want it to be true myself, but my feeling, my intuition, the connections (or coincidences) and what has been done to the people globally drives me to have as few dependencies as possible.
I can't describe the feeling exactly, where it's taking me either, but i can say: Yup, i feel that something really big is about to happen
I hear you. At first I thought it was just the innate primal instinct yearning to get back to the basics of life. Though the more time goes on, it definitely seems like a global scale awakening or enlightenment or hell even a mass extinction event. I don’t have the answer but I know these types of feelings give off certain vibrations and I’m glad to know others feel those vibrations.

Nostr has helped feel the good...but its also made me realize how much bad is being pumped on the socials and how caught up everyone out there is.
