Seeing lots more Japanese notes the past month. It’s a little Timezone biased.
They are tech savvy and like bitcoin, it’s no surprise.
We have a lot of 🇯🇵 nostr.wine users (15-20%)!

Yes. We have several domestic relays in Japan, which facilitate our communication smoothly. Also, we have a white-list relay, which allows overseas access to a domestic relay.
Japanese-speaking users that are active may be at most 200, as far as we can count. But we form a group, tech or non-tech, and cooperate in many ways. We have a study group of protocol which is very very active. That's why you see a lot of Japanese posts in daytime (+ nighttime) of JST.

To be honest, not that big yet. Twitter still dominates as No. 1 SNS. However I believe that Nostr (off course, Damus) has big potential to be one of alternative because it’s very unique and idealistic.
