I’m always impressed at just how dark the shithole of ragebaiting Xitter is, and just how nice Nostr really is.

Goes to show how the algo is designed for hate and that humanity on a whole is actually pretty great.

Deleted X as soon as I discovered Nostr. X runs on outrage. Nostr runs on signal. The algorithm feeds division because that sells ads. When you remove that incentive, people actually act like humans again.

What i meant is that X, like any other social media, promotes posts that make people angry and emotionally reactive. Outrage gets attention.People comment, share, and argue and their activity keeps users on the platform longer
